From Allie's Momma: WAfter rescuing Charlie, we had discussed getting him a friend over the years but it had never worked out. In December 2018, I saw there was a rescue event in Delaware. I bought a pass and was told again by my mom that there was no chance we were leaving with a dog. But yet again, that changed after laying eyes on Allie. We saw this sweet girl in the cage with these big eyes and knew she had to be ours. Over the past three years with Allie we have had the privilege of watching her blossom from a four month old puppy to a three year old dog. She is incredibly smart, mischievous and silly. She has taught herself to open our back door, can dig a hole faster than any dog I’ve seen and loves playing with her brother Charlie and our rescue cat, Remy.
