In 2012 Spud was found underweight and alone on the streets of downtown Wilmington, DE. He was only 5 months old. He was taken in by a local rescue and sent home with a loving foster mom just a few weeks later. His foster mama and doggy sibling Mojito showed him the ropes and taught him how to “dog”. Once he had enough training he was ready to be adopted... After 3 years, and countless failed adoption trials, his foster mama realized the reason he kept getting returned was because he was meant to be with her. And so she made it official and welcomed Spud as a permanent member of the family. No one knows what Spud endured the first few months of his life but since the day he was rescued, he’s known nothing but love. THANKS to his awesome mama!
