Bellini was meant to be a Thanksgiving week foster. She had arrived at the shelter in October with short hair and a skinny little tail due to a flea infestation. Despite honest attempts to find her a great home during her week's vacation from the shelter, it started to look like she might have already decided that she was home. However, the day before the end of her foster stay a lovely family asked to meet her. It seemed like the perfect match, but Bellini had other plans. She sat in the corner and hissed at her perspective new family. Two cats were rescued that day! The family choose a different cat and Bellini went back to her foster home which is now her forever home. She is now a much loved and fluffy long haired cat.
