She was dumped out of a vehicle with her brother (Ricky) in SC and they were living under a house for shelter. The owner of the house was an elderly woman that wasn’t financially able to provide for them but was sharing half her dinner with them. She reached out to the local animal shelter and a volunteer went to get them. House of Hope Animal Rescue pulled them, vetted them and transported them to Maryland. Lainey was adopted June 2023 and now has a family, 2 little boys that are obsessed with her, orthopedic beds, plenty of treats, top notch vet care and is trained as a therapy pup.
