Honey - Gray
From Honey’s human: Miss Honey, came into the Marietta Ohio animal shelter sometime in 2020 while I was walking dogs and still had our Scoobie Doo. When we took her for a walk, she would lay her belly in the grass and refused to come back inside. We often observed kennel staff carrying her back to her kennel. She loved her blankets and we always made sure she had at least two before tucking her in for the night . She was there approximately one year before we brought her home. The Shelter staff stated they had heard the man who turned her in had become homeless, but no one is really sure about her true story. She is one of the most reactive and anxious little girls I have ever loved and she is worth it 100%! I was told she is very afraid of other animals and barriers, but she loves her people more than anything. This was and still is 100% true . I had a wonderful friend, Stephanie Coate of Paces Canine coaching devote months of her time to help me train Honey, so she could participate in trips to Lowes, parks, and even participated in some pack walks with some large German shepherds in our group. We still do the Lowes visits to this day and it is a highlight of our week. Honey is approximately 6 to 7 years old from what we can tell, is starting to go silver in the face, and we love her so much. When Stephanie was working with her, she once said to me, how much Honey works to please us. She loves both my sons Brandon and Cameron, her grandma, and my grandchildren, Nelly, and Miles very much. She is the most quirky, personable, silly little lady I have ever loved.
