As told by Konan's momma: So I started to look for a new dog to rescue after the passing of my 15 year old puggle. We have a second dog and it just didn't feel the same in our house. I was so heartbroken and knew I needed another dog. I put out applications just to get a start looking and within a week this little hound mix nugget stole my heart. He was about 15 weeks old. Konan was found with his litter mates down in the Carolinas huddled around their deceased mother on a train track. THe puppies were brought up here to Jersey. We rescued konan from Easel Animal Rescue League. The lady we met told us his foster stated there was something special about this puppy. That couldn't be closer to the truth. He fit in instantly with our plotthound Argus and the children. Argus lets him chew on his ears and legs, jumping all over him, doing all the fun puppy stuff. Konans favorite things to do: play with his small human siblings, chase his tail , learn new tricks, and sneak in plenty of cuddles with his mama. Going to the dog park is such a fun time for Konan. Even when he was a little baby puppy he would get right in there and play with all the doggos. This doesn't scare him at all, however the recycle can does lol.  He loves loves loves stealing all the toys from argus because its a super fun game of tug of war. That might be his favorite. His favorite colors are blue or red because his mama thinks it makes him look so handsome. Konan loves to eat ice chips, he comes right away when he hears the ice maker. If you put ice in the water bowl he does his best to take every last one out.  If you give ice chips and treats to konan he will be your best friend for life.
