  • I'm Oliver Corry Allen B# and  from a fearful, heartworm +, domestic abuse survivor and through the support of Rebecca Corry and Stand Up For Pits Foundation, Inc.  I am now a healthy, happy, safe pup living a life of love without fear.
I was the victim of severe domestic abuse but thankfully, found safety at a shelter.   The odds were continuing to stack up against me finding my furrever home.  A petite, mostly black, fearful bully, in an overcrowded rural shelter well over-capacity, with no walk-in-adoption traffic, terrified of everything (including other dogs) & needing incredibly expensive heartworm treatment ~  Grateful for my angel at Bullock County Humane Society who networked tirelessly to get me & so many other sweet babies, to where her efforts paid off and SUFP heard about us ~ formulated a plan to help and are funded heartworm treatments, spays & neuters for almost a dozen "pit bull type dogs" in need at this shelter!  I spent about 6-7 weeks in the hospital for my treatment.  I got healthy, neutered, and got rid of those icky heartworms.  I am very timid, I flinch a lot, and I'm scared of absolutely everything ~ but that didn't stop my two angels from finding me a safe couch to land on, with my new person.

My two middle names, Corry & Allen, are in honor of my two angels.   Thank you both for believing in me.  I accept the challenge of overcoming my trauma, accepting love, and showing people, even after all the bad that's happened along the way ... I will continue to forgive, I will learn to accept love without fear, and I will shower the world with my unconditional love ~ as "pit bull type dogs" are want to do.

So, this is my promise to you Rebecca & Ginny, and everyone that made this miraculous thing happen for me.

    ... effective October 7, 2023 ... I AM BECOMING OLIVER

    ~ Love Always, Ollie
