Oshie Sock Heaven

Oshie’s journey began when he found himself in the care of PAWS Rescue after being surrendered to a local shelter. As a puppy, he had been left on hot concrete, leaving his tiny paws blistered and red. Life didn’t get much easier after that — he was moved from home to home, unfairly labeled as “aggressive” when, in truth, he was simply an anxious boy trying to feel safe. Before joining PAWS, other dogs in his previous home often bullied him, but through it all, Oshie’s gentle spirit never faded. He loved carrying toys, soaking up affection, and winning over the hearts of everyone willing to see the real him.

With time, patience, and a safe place to land, Oshie has blossomed into the joyful, confident pup he was always meant to be. He’s now a happy, spoiled boy with one unforgettable quirk — a deep love for socks. Oshie believes life is better with something in his mouth, and socks are his treasure of choice. If one isn’t handy, he’ll “chatter” his teeth until his prized possession is found. His home is sprinkled with socks like little souvenirs of his happiness.

Today, Oshie spends his days chasing tennis balls, cuddling close, and living a life filled with love, security, and, of course, more socks than he could ever dream of!
