Sally was found wandering the streets of Los Angeles by a volunteer for Angel City Pitbulls. She was taken to the shelter to be sure there was not an owner looking for her and when no one came Angel City took her into their foster program. After multiple foster homes and being photographed by my amazing friend Rita Blackwell we meet Sally on a pack walk hosted by Angel City, fell in love and went to meet her at NKLA the next day with Ava. At the shelter she was a different dog, so scared, hiding in the back of the kennel, nothing like the dog we had seen the day before but we just knew she was the one for our family. That was on 09/11/16, almost 5 years and she is just now really coming out of her shell and acting like the happy relaxed dog we knew she could be. Sally is the ultimate example of why rescues are worth all of our love and hard work.
